If you can effectively serve 50 people and you never build a team, you will be limited to 50. Building a team increases your capacity as a leader. How? When you train 9 more people to do what do, your capacity increases from 50 to 500.
The lonely leaders are the ones that don’t build a team or an accountability team to help them along the way. So a better title would be “Leading can be lonely when you lead alone.”
True leaders not only know the value of the team but enjoys the process of adding value to each individual on their team. Get to know your team and let them know that you appreciate them.
