Leadership

Leading can be lonely part1

Serving others with no hidden agenda or motive is indeed a calling. However it definitely takes God to stay faithful on this journey. I’ve learned many things and hopefully as I share the next few weeks, it will help encourage someone else.
1. Thank You and Appreciation may be few. It’s not that you’re not appreciated, it’s like the Ten lepers that were healed but only one returned to say thank you.
Luke17:11-19. We can’t serve expecting acknowledgement or accolades because our reward comes from God. However it is nice to know that you are appreciated. Which is why it is important to have other outlets and networks that you’re connected too. Being a part of a team keeps you grounded and connected.

Your inner circle is important.  It is in this select group of people that you find wise counsel, correction and support.  No leader can be successful without a successful team. If you don’t have this team in place, be strategic and recruit one.
