New Office – my preference or customer needs?

I’m so excited to announce that we have our own office in the beautiful downtown Vidalia. So much has happened and we have a long way to go.

Finding the perfect location was important. We had to think about safety, parking, neighbors and more. We’ve been looking for the perfect location for over one year. I thought I found it in 2017 but the training room would have been upstairs and wouldn’t be handicapped accessible. I was disappointed because I loved the location. However an office that serves as a training facility is about my clients experience and not my personal preference. So we kept looking. We’ll I’m glad we did because now we have the perfect location.

Step one was to renovate the office space. The walls were pink, green and blue. I want a contemporary training space but my advisors felt the current color palette was a little too much. Judge for yourself. Is this too much?? Lol

All of this was retail space and we turned half of it into an office but I’ll share that part in my next post.

Listen, the purpose of this first post is to remind you:

  1. when you begin to expand, keep the needs of your clients in the forefront.
  2. You must have a vision to see beyond any obstacles that may arise.
  3. Get advice from reputable advisors that can also see your vision.
  4. Don’t rush. Take the time necessary to find the perfect place.

Return frequently to take this journey with me. Next is Renovations….
