We’re surrounded by yes-men that tell us half truths to protect our feelings. Yes-men will provide public support even if they know we are a private failure.
I am leaving the Familiar huddles and launching out into the deep. To a place where no’s are inevitable & truth can be painful but the results will help baptize me as an entrepreneur. As a business owner, we are very protective of our baby ( business concept or idea) and can be easily offended. However in order to grow we must move from planning to doing. Move from thinking to executing. Move from doing to measuring results. Move from fear to faith.
What would you if you knew you would succeed? Now do it. Simply step out. Attend a new networking event. Volunteer within your community. Get out & get known first by serving.
Don’t worry…you will get a No, you will make mistakes & you will have disappointments. Yes! The good news is that IF you learn from each mistake and disappointment; you will grow. If you stay in your “safe circles” you rob yourself & your business of the opportunity to grow.
